Chemo #4
The lash dose of AC! Adriamycin & Cytoxan are done!
This was the strong chemo and according to my doctor, the “hard part” which she says I made it through pretty damn well. I was a bit emotional on Friday, thinking to myself I made it. I made it through the rough one. Just 1 more weekend of this medicine. I was nervous this would be the one that kicked my ass and it was quite the opposite. I think I was most active this weekend than any weekend the previous 3 treatments.
I still have this nagging, annoying acid reflux which makes sleeping and eating kind of difficult. I’m trying to figure this out. And hoping it goes away. I don’t think it’s a side affect of the next drug but we’ll see.
I get the week off again! Yay!
And then on Aug 19, we begin Taxol weekly for 12 weeks. So. 12 more. Then we’re done with Phase 3.
According to doc, taxol won’t be as bad so here’s hoping I do even better with that than I did with AC.
Thank you everyone so much for your prayers, support, love, and positivity. I believe a huge component of this is mindset. I have from the beginning refused to allow this to stop me from doing anything and I will continue to be that way as long as I possibly can.
Like the beautiful Olivia Newton-John said “”I live beyond it, “I love beyond it. I sing beyond it. And I want that for everybody.” 🎀
